WHALE WATCHING
The southward migration of the gray whale takes place in November and December while the northward migration of the gray whale takes place from
February to April. As well, the Oregon Coast has 400 to 500 "resident" gray whales who frequent the coast during the summer months and depart
in the fall. Find a good viewpoint on a headland or take a commercial tour with the charter companies that operate out of Depoe Bay or Newport.
Remember to bring your binoculars and cameras! |
