Oregon Coast Aquarium
Oregon Coast Aquarium, features indoor and outdoor exhibits that showcase marine habitats and animals and is the former
home of Keiko the whale of "Free Willy" fame. The aquarium is located in Newport, 25 miles south of Lincoln City.
The Hatfield Marine Science Center
The Hatfield Marine Science Center, located in Newport, is associated with Oregon State University. The Public Wing of
the facility features interactive displays and live exhibits of marine life. Its mission is to provide an appreciation
and understanding of coastal and marine resources and research.
Connie Hansen Garden
The Connie Hansen Garden is the legacy of the dedication and hard
work of this Lincoln City personality. The volunteers who maintain the garden, carry on her work and promote gardening
interest on the Oregon Coast through educational programs and community involvement. |
