Northwest Trek is located approximately 35 miles east and a 45 minute drive from DuPont. The Wildlife Park, open all year round is a treasure for wildlife enthusiasts.
This 725-acre park has a little bit of everything: lakes, trails, meadows and plenty of animals. Northwest Trek is home to more than 200 North American animals.

Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, comprises 3,000 acres of salt and freshwater
marshes on the Nisqually River Delta in Southern Puget Sound. Educational centre and tours available. Open from sunrise to sunset.
Access to the area is from Exit 114. A great place to take the kids!
Mount Rainier National Park is located approximately 90 minutes and 60 miles from
DuPont. This is a 'must see' attraction that offers wonderful sightseeing opportunities or hiking, climbing and camping experiences for those
who wish to get out of their vehicle. Click on this link for driving directions
to the park and enjoy. Take Exit 127 on I-5 and follow the directions to the park.
Mount St. Helens. The Mount Saint Helens Visitor's Centre, is
located approximately 2 hours south of DuPont. Follow I-5 South to Exit 49 at Castle Rock, Washington and take SR 504 5 miles east to Mount St. Helens
Visitor Center. This is another 'must see' natural wonder if you have the time.
Washington State Parks. There are numerous day use and wilderness parks in the
area that we encourage you to visit. |
