Northwest Trek is located approximately 35 miles east and a 45 minute drive from DuPont. The Wildlife Park, open all year round is a treasure for wildlife enthusiasts.
This 725-acre park has a little bit of everything: lakes, trails, meadows and plenty of animals. Northwest Trek is home to more than 200 North American animals.

Fort Nisqually. European settlers established the first European settlement as a Hudson's
Bay trading outpost on Puget Sound in 1833. The Fort is a "living museum" and offers educational programs and tours.
Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, located in Tacoma, is another "must see" location for the kids - an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon exploring. |
